Archer Valentine writes the kind that get stuck in your head for days.
He handles heavy stuff like love and loss with total honesty, but then flips the script completely with tracks like Rat in a Suit just to make you laugh. That unpredictability is the best part of being a fan, you never really know what’s coming next, you just know it’s going to be real. I have been missing the feel of "the old internet" and decided to build a "Fan Page" for a musician I think honestly deserves to be HUGE.

Hi! I’m Mary-Joyce (Mary to most people). If you’ve ever been in Archer’s lives, I’m that girl who was always spamming the chat requesting “Jane” and shouting “Team Jane! Team Jane!” constantly. Archer calls me Joyce. It's fine by me; I answer to both now!
I’m a former New Yorker who made the leap to the Philippines, where I’m currently outnumbered by my teenage son and a growing herd of cats.
When I’m not working on Team Jane, I’m usually building study guides for my son, modding a gaming community, or losing battles against my cats.
This site is my way of blending music, creativity, and storytelling into one spot to share an artist who truly made an impact on me.

— MeowyJoyce“Jane” was one of my favorite songs from Archer's Here I AM album right from the first time it hit my headphones. But the song took on a whole new meaning during one of his live streams. Archer got personal and shared that he wrote it about a friend who passed away. He admitted it was one of his favorite tracks, but feared it got overlooked since it's the last song on the album. That completely broke me and changed how I interpreted the lyrics. It became a living memory of someone important to him. Because I've gone through my own experiences with loss, seeing him be that vulnerable made the song cut even deeper. It's proof that love and memories keep people with us, even when they're gone. I immediately started requesting “Jane” even more during his live streams and asking other fans to give it a real chance. So when I decided to make a fan page and was thinking of a name, “Team Jane” was a no-brainer because it felt like the only right way to champion an overlooked masterpiece and honor the person who inspired it.
I actually stumbled onto Archer Valentine's music completely by accident while doom scrolling one night. A video of his popped up, so I clicked on his profile. That's when I found out he made music, and I got totally sucked in, even ending up looping his songs for hours.
Honestly, his music found me at a time in my life when I really needed a lift, and his songs have become part of the soundtrack of my life. Team Jane is just my way of saying thank you and hopefully helping someone else stumble across his music the exact same way I did.
